Infant Massage Instructors

8th to 11th November 2010

 

This training course will fully equip students to teach infant massage to parents.

 

This four day course will cover:

Massage techniques for infants * Benefits of infant massage * Infant cues, crying & behavior states * Child development * Infant handling * Understanding & valuing parents * Parental attitudes to touch * Bonding * Teaching & group facilitation skills * Touch research * Safety guidelines * Marketing

 

The International Association of Infant Massage was founded in 1981 and has been teaching and examining Infant Massage courses for over 15 years.  Its aim is to integrate the art of infant massage with the parenting traditions of the west.
